NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter, on April 23, 2026, by the Port Orange Planning Commission in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 1000 City Center Circle, Port Orange, Florida. The purpose of this hearing is to consider the request for a Variance to reduce the minimum secondary front yard setback from 30 feet to less than 5 feet for a 6-foot-high fence. The subject property is located at 5968 Shady Creek Lane and is more specifically described as follows: PARCEL NO. 633704000381 LOT 103 SAWGRASS POINT PUD PHASE III MB 46 PGS 33-34 PER OR 5171 PG 4876 PER OR 6117 PG 2432 Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning Commission will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure at his or her expense for the taking and preparation of a verbatim record of all testimony and evidence of the proceedings upon which the appeal is to be based.
