NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING City of Port Orange, Florida U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Proposed PY2026-2030 Five (5) Year CDBG Consolidated Plan The City of Port Orange will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 5:30PM. in Council Chambers, City Hall, 1000 City Center Circle, Port Orange, FL, 32129. This notice is provided in compliance with the Citys adopted Citizen Participation Plan (Adopted June 16, 2020), as required by 24 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) 91. The City of Port Oranges Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City is seeking citizen input and participation in developing the Five (5) Year CDBG Consolidated Plan. The city has created a survey located at www.port-orange.org and encourages citizens to participate in this online survey. Over the five-year period, it is anticipated that the City will receive approximately $1,774,000 in direct entitlement funds, allocated annually. Comments as well as the survey will be available and accepted until May 27, 2026. Comments received by the City on or before the end of the comment period will be forwarded to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Comments received after the comment period will not be considered.
