Public Notice
Notice is hereby given that the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office wishes to designate a position within the agency to the Senior Management Service Class. The position of Chief is a policy making position filled by an employee who is not subject to a continuing contract and serves at the pleasure of the Sheriff without the pro-tection of Career Service; and has the responsibility to recommend personnel, budget, expenditures and policy decisions in his/her areas of responsibility.
