AD#12186680 04/16, 04/30/26 CITY OF TITUSVILLE NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the general election of qualified voters of the City of Titusville, Florida will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 for the purpose of electing a Council Member for the following seats: Council Member Seat One (4 Year Term) currently held by Herman A. Cole Council Member Seat Three (4 Year Term) currently held by Megan D. Moscoso Council Member Seat Five (4 Year Term) currently held by Jo Lynn Nelson The qualifying period for these seats will commence at noon on Thursday, May 14, 2026 and end at noon on Thursday, May 28, 2026. In the event more than two candidates qualify for a particular seat, then a primary election will be held on August 18, 2026. If no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast (50 percent plus one) then a runoff election will be held between the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes on November 3, 2026. If a candidate receives a majority of the votes cast during the primary election on August 18, 2026, said candidate will be elected. If only two candidates qualify for a particular seat, then the general election will be held on November 3, 2026. To qualify for office of Council Member, candidates shall have been residents of the City one year prior to filing and have qualifications of electors in the City of Titusville.
