gpn20 RN5102 RN5102 gpn20 STATE OF GEORGIA, COUNTY OF FLOYD Advertisement of Filing of Petition for Tax Lien Foreclosure NOTICE RE:JANET STANDRIDGE Tax Map B13, Parcel 014 Halls Valley Road, Rome, GA 30165 On February 25, 2026, a petition was filed in the Floyd County Superior Court seeking foreclosure of the ad valorem tax liens for the years 2024 and 2025 in the amount of $2,594.55 (amount includes principal amount of taxes owed and any accrued interest and penalties through April 15, 2026) on the following described property. Said amount may be subject to additional costs, filing fees and penalties associated with this action. All that tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the 15th District and 4th Section of Floyd County, Georgia, and being in Land Lots 100 and 117 and being part of the Lon Hall Farm as per plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 34, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Floyd County (Plat) being more particularly described below: All of Tract 9 as such Plat containing 6.88 acres, more or less, lying in the southeast corner of Land Lot 100, and all of said land lot lying east of the public road. Also all of Tract 10 as per such Plat containing 12.45 acres, more or less, lying in the northeast corner of Land Lot 117 and lying east of public road. Said property is part of the same property described in a Warranty Deed dated November 2, 1957, to Alfred T. and Annie Ruth Wright recorded in Deed Book 309, Page 372, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Floyd County, Georgia. Together with all rights, title and interest running with the above-described property, but not taxed under a separate tax reference number and delineated on the tax maps of the petitioner for the years for the taxes being foreclosed. Said petition was filed on behalf of Kevin Payne, Floyd County Tax Commissioner, P.O. Box 26, Rome, Georgia 30162-0026. A hearing on this matter will be held not sooner than thirty (30) days from the date of filing.
