Scope of Examination: Knowledge of Electrical Instrument & Testing Mechanic practices. Nature of Position and Duties: Under general supervision, performs skilled work in the repair, testing and maintenance of various equipment at District facilities including, plant process control equipment, power distribution systems, voice and data communication networks, including telemetry. Salary: $64.58 per hour
Legal Assistant (Original & Promotional)

Scope of Examination: Knowledge of Legal Assistant practices. Nature of Position and Duties: Under general supervision of attorneys and/or a Senior Legal Assistant, performs entry-level paralegal work in support of District activities. Salary: $81,420.82 per year
Senior Legal Assistant (Original & Promotional)

Scope of Examination: Knowledge of Senior Legal Assistant practices. Nature of Position and Duties: Under general supervision of attorneys, performs more advanced paralegal work in support of District activities. 
Salary: $96,088.20 per year
Treatment Plant Operator II (Promotional)
Application Filing Period: March 13, 2026 through March 27, 2026. Examination Date: April 18, 2026. Location: Stickney Water Reclamation Plant (SWRP), 6001 West Pershing, Cicero, IL. Scope of Examination: Knowledge of Treatment Plant Operator II practices. Nature of Position and Duties: Under general supervision, has responsibility for the control of the routine wastewater treatment process and coordination of sewage pumping and treatment operations associated with this process at a wastewater treatment plant. 
Salary: $87,547.20 per year
