Bid Letting Notice: The City of Kankakee will be accepting bids for supplying bulk fuel at the Department of Public Works. This contract will cover the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year. Bid Packets will be available at the City Clerk's office, 304 S. Indiana Ave., Kankakee, IL. Questions should be in writing and faxed to (815) 933-4336, Attn: James Lopez. No questions will be answered after 10am CST, Tuesday, May 12, 2026 to allow time to prepare bids. Bids should be sealed and clearly marked “Fuel Bid 2026-2027, Attn: Stacy Gall.” They will be accepted at 304 S. Indiana Ave., until 10am CST Tuesday, May 12, 2026, when they will be opened and read aloud. An award, if any, to be made by the ESU Committee at a later time. The City of Kankakee reserves the right to reject any and all bids deemed not in it?s best interest and to waive technicalities.
