WISE, DECEASED. NO. 2026-PR-0000089 NOTICE OF CLAIM DAY AND NOTICE TO UNKNOWN HEIRS IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF JAMES F. WISE, DECEASED VS. ALL UNKNOWN HEIRS CASE NO. 2026-PR-0000089 NOTICE OF ORDER ADMITTING WILL TO PROBATE AND APPOINTING REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE OF CLAIM DATE Notice is given of the death of JAMES F. WISE and that on the 22nd day of April, 2026, an Order was entered admitting the Will of JAMES F. WISE to probate and appointing a representative. Letters of Office were issued on April 22, 2026 to JOCK V. WISE, whose address is 79308 Ray Brown Rd., Arch Cape, OR, and whose attorney is Jennifer A. Hahn of Hahn Law of Peoria, Ltd., 1230 W. Candletree Dr., Suite A., Peoria, IL 61614, (309) 673-1805. Within 42 days after the effective date of the original order of admission, any heir or legatee may file a petition with the Court to require proof of the will by testimony of the witnesses to the will in open Court or other evidence, as provided in Section 6-21 of the Probate Act (755 ILCS 516- 21). Any heir or legatee also has the right under Section 8-1 of the Probate Act (755 ILCS 5/8-1) to contest the validity of the will by filing a petition with the Court within 6 months after admission of the will to probate. Claims may be filed on or before the 29th day of October, 2026, or six months from the date of the first publication of this Claim Notice, whichever is later, and any claim not filed on or before that date is barred. Claims against the estate may be filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Peoria County Courthouse, Peoria, Illinois, or with the representative, or both. Within 10 days after a claimant files its claim with the Court, the claimant must mail or deliver a copy of the claim to the representative and to its attorney of record and file with the Court proof of mailing or delivery of said copies.
