Public Notice PUBLIC NOTICE FOR PUBLIC HEARING TOWNSHIP OF CHATHAM ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that on March 11, 2026 at 7:30 P.M. The Township of Chatham ("Zoning Board of Adjustment" hereinafter "Board") will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at the Township of Chatham Municipal Building located at 58 Meyersville Road, Township of Chatham, New Jersey, on the application of the applicant \D Chatham Wine & Liquor LLC (the "Applicant"), seeking bulk variance relief to replace the existing front elevation signage with an internally illuminated 59.6 sq.ft. sign at the property known as 650 Shunpike Road (Block 135, Lot 22), Chatham, New Jersey, (the "Property") located in the B-1 Business Center District Zone. The Property is owned by the Applicant. The Application requires the following bulk variance relief: (1) internally illuminated signs are prohibited via Section 30-98.1i; and (2) maximum size of a sign is 30 sq.ft., wherein 59.6 sq.ft. is proposed; (3) no sign shall be erected, placed or maintained in or over any street or road right-of-way or upon or over any sidewalk via Section 30-98.1.c; and (4) maximum Allowable Height of Sign; 18 inches permitted, 65 inches proposed via Section 30-98.4.d; along with any additional deviations, variances, waivers, exceptions, interpretations, de minimis exceptions to RSIS, modifications of conditions of prior approvals, continuation of any preexisting nonconforming conditions and other approvals reflected on the filed plans (as same may be further amended or revised from time to time without further notice) and/or relief that may be determined to be necessary during the review and processing of the application and/or based upon an analysis of the plans and testimony at the PUBLIC HEARING on the Application.
