NOTICE OF HEARING PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40:55D-12 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 494 SUMMIT AVENUE (ALSO IDENTIFIED AS BLOCK 10803, LOT 27.01), 506 SUMMIT AVENUE (ALSO IDENTIFIED AS BLOCK 9605, LOT 4, 4 WEST STREET (BLOCK 9604, LOT 11), 8 WEST STREET (ALSO IDENTIFIED AS BLOCK 9604, LOT 12), 9 WEST STREET (ALSO IDENTIFIED AS BLOCK 9605 LOT 3), 10 WEST STREET (ALSO IDENTIFIED AS BLOCK 9604, LOT 13), 11 WEST STREET (ALSO IDENTIFIED AS BLOCK 9605 LOT 2.01) JERSEY CITY, NJ, PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on April 14, 2026, at 5:30pm a public hearing will be held by the Jersey City Planning Board regarding the application of 500 Summit Avenue Owner LLC (the "Applicant"), filed under case number P2025-0169 for the property located and described on the Tax Map of the City of Jersey City as follows: 494 Summit Avenue (Block 10803, Lot 27.01), 506 Summit Avenue (Block 9605, Lot 14), 4 West Street (Block 9604, Lot 11), 8 West Street (Block 9604, Lot 12), 9 West Street (Block 9605, Lot 3), 10 West Street (Block 9604, Lot 3), 11 West Street (Block 9605, Lot 2.01) (the "Property"). The Property is located within the Transition Zone (Zone 11) (the "Zone") of the Journal Square 2060 Redevelopment Area (the "Area") and governed by the Journal Square 2060 Redevelopment Plan (the "Plan"). The Applicant is seeking Preliminary Major Site Plan Approval to construct a 42 story,440' residential structure containing 696 residential dwelling units, 48 parking spaces, public plaza area, public walkway easement, sidewalk, streetscape and other site improvements. The Applicant is not seeking any deviations from the Plan as part of this Project. Any additional approvals, permits, variances, interpretations, waivers or exceptions reflected in the plans and materials filed (as same may be amended or revised from time to time without further notice) or determined to be necessary during the review, processing or hearing of this Application.
