The State University of New York at Buffalo will receive sealed bids for project number 2025-255 Biomedical Research Building Freight Elevator Modernization 2:00 PM local time on Thursday June 18, 2026
All bid packages MUST be submitted via email to:UB-Compliance@buffalo.edu
Email shall include Project 2025-255 Biomedical Research Building Freight Elevator Modernization and “Contractor name" in Subject line.
NO BIDS SHOULD BE HAND DELIVERED OR DELIVERED THROUGH ANY DELIVERY SERVICE OR COMMON CARRIER. ONLY ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The University assumes no responsibility for any Proposal that is not delivered into its aforesaid email address by 2:00 PM local time.
All work on this Contract is to be completed within 392 Calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed, starting on or after the University's Notice to Proceed is received which shall be forwarded to the Contractor upon approval of the contract of the New York State Comptroller.

A walk-through site inspection will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2026 at 2:00PM All interested parties should assemble at the Biomedical Research Building Main Lobby. Failure to participate in the walk- through inspection will not be grounds for extra compensation due to field conditions encountered on this project.
Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process.
