VILLAGE OF NEW HEMPSTEAD ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of New Hempstead will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 7:30 p.m., at New Hempstead Village Hall, 108 Old Schoolhouse Road, New City, NY 10956, to consider the application of HERSCHEL VORCHHEIMER, 2 Bonnie Court, New Hempstead NY 10977 (“Applicant(s)”). The Applicant(s), for/as to the subject Property, is/are seeking approval to permit the construction, maintenance and use of an addition to their single family dwelling [Additional living space] (“PBApplication”). As part of such PB Application, the Applicant has applied to and is seeking from the Board the following variances from Section(s) 290-37 of the Zoning Law of the Village of New Hempstead (“ZBA Application”) from current site conditions as follows (“Variances”): (i) Requesting a minimum lot frontage of 27.6 feet instead of the required 35 feet; and (ii) Requesting a minimum side yard of 15 feet instead of the required 20 feet; THE SUBJECT PROPERTY, CURRENTLY AND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 2 BONNIE COURT, NEW HEMPSTEAD NY, IS LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF BONNIE COURT 0 +/- FEET FROM GREENRIDGE WAY. THE PROPERTY IS CURRENTLY DESIGNATED ON THE TOWN OF RAMAPO TAX MAP AS SECTION 50.06, BLOCK 2, LOT 1, IN A 1R-25 ZONING DISTRICT (“Property”).
