Orthophosphate System Improvements - Rebid



Sealed Bids subject to the conditions contained herein will be received by the Mohawk Valley Water Authority (MVWA), Engineering Department, up until and no later than 11:00 A.M. local time, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, and then publicly opened and read in the Board’s conference room for the following, as described in the specifications: Orthophosphate System Improvements - Rebid.




The scope of work includes the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials required to install orthophosphate system improvements including but not limited to: chemical storage tank and day tank; chemical feed skid (pumps, gauges, valves, etc.); transfer pumps; tubing; injection tap and quill; piping, supports, fittings, and appurtenances; wall penetrations; and all utility and equipment relocations/replacements; concrete installation; electrical and control improvements, etc.; and coordination; as shown and described in the Contract Documents.

Proposals shall be submitted only on the forms contained herein and shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form described and shall be received only from persons who obtain Bid Documents from the MVWA and are duly registered on the list of bidders.




The MVWA reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any and all bids. The MVWA may reject any bid if in its judgment the resources, financial standing, or experience of the bidder justifies such rejection in view of the work to be performed. The Board reserves the right to revise or amend the bidding documents prior to the date set for opening the bids.




Packages containing bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed to the Mohawk Valley Water Authority, Engineering Department, Attention: Jolie Murray, 1 Kennedy Plaza, 3rd Floor, City Hall, Utica, New York 13502.Packages containing bids that are delivered by courier (i.e., FedEx, UPS, etc.) must be delivered to the Water Authority’s Engineering Department, 3rd Floor Office.
