LIVINGSTON COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF GENESEO ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES TUESDAY, March 24, 2026, at 7:00 PM TOWN OFFICE Please note that the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Town of Geneseo will hold the following public hearing pursuant to Town Law. At the specified date and time, an application by Timothy Schunk, 5007 West Lake Rd., Tax Map 91.60-1-3, will be reviewed for SOUTH SIDE YARD AREA VARIANCES. The application seeks a 9’ variance from the south side setback to preserve the existing roadside easement and to rotate the proposed structure 90 degrees on the lot. The requested 9’variance is the minimum necessary to accommodate the rotated footprint, preserve the easement, and prevent larger encroachment elsewhere on the property. The applicant believes this adjustment will not negatively impact the neighborhood's character nor cause adverse environmental or physical effects on neighboring properties. The proposed project requests a deviation from the Town zoning code for the following sections: Zoning 106, attachment 1, Lakeshore Residential District, C permitted uses, number 15, side setback of 15’. Therefore, the above Public Hearing will be held. Beginning at the specified time and location, the Zoning Board of Appeals will hear any persons in support of or opposition to the application. Those unable to attend may submit comments in writing to the Town Office a week prior, addressed to ZBA.
