A brief synopsis of such Local Law is as follows: INTRO TO LOCAL LAW NO. 4 OF THE YEAR 2026 A LOCAL LAW AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF CHEEKTOWAGA TO AMEND THE TAXATION LAW OF THE TOWN OF CHEEKTOWAGA (ARTILCE XI OCCUPANCY TAX) * 220-45. Legislative intent. This occupancy tax is a way for the Town of Cheektowaga to raise revenue in the same way that other communities do. The application of this occupancy tax includes an apartment hotel, motel, hotel or a boarding house, whether or not meals are served. A copy of this Law in its entirety is on file and available for viewing during regular business hours in the Cheektowaga Town Clerk's Office.
