NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, as set forth in City Municipal Code, Section 228-7, Public Hearings will be held by the Ithaca Landmarks Preservation Commission (ILPC) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. This meeting is open to the public and will be held in Common Council Chambers, Third Floor, City Hall, 108 East Green Street and also conducted remotely using videoconferencing technology as permitted by Part WW of Chapter 56 of the Laws of 2022 of New York State and Local Law 2022-05. More information, including the written procedures governing the use of videoconferencing technology, is available at http://www.cityofithaca.org/339/Boards-Committees. In-person attendance at City Hall may be limited and will be permitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of the public are strongly encouraged to participate remotely. Members of the public wishing to participate remotely should register by or before 3:00 PM on the day of the meeting. To register, please send your legal name and physical address to planninginfo@cityof ithaca.org, subject line: “ILPC Speaker Registration – April 2026” Written comments may be submitted to the aforementioned email address no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Use the subject line: “ILPC Comments – April 2026,” and include your legal name and physical address along with your comments in the body of the email. Each comment is limited to three minutes and will be read aloud at the meeting. The Commission will consider the following applications for material changes/alterations: A. 233 South Albany Street, Henry St. John Historic District — Proposal to Convert a Carriage Barn into a Housing Unit, with Changes in Fenestration, Siding Materials, and Architectural Detailing.
