PUBLIC NOTICE:
The Town of Lee Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lee Town Hall, 5808 Stokes Lee Center Road, Lee Center, in order to address the following appeals:
Appeal 792: S&L Properties, 6399 Karlen Road, seeks to appeal from Section 107, Schedule of Land Use Controls, for an area variance to reduce the rear yard distance below 50’ to 28’ on property designated as Tax Map Parcel No. 188.001-5-6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Appeal 793: Shane Banks, 9676 Harris Road, seeks to appeal from Section 107, Schedule of Land Use Controls, for an area variance to reduce the minimum distance from the center of the road from 75’ to 62’ on property designated as Tax Map Parcel No. 152.000-1-33.
Appeal 794: Kathleen Sciortino, 6310 Evergreen Drive, seeks to appeal from Section 107, Schedule of Land Use Controls, for an area variance to reduce the minimum distance from 75’ to 46’ (existing distance from the center of road to the house is 56’) on property designated as Tax Map Parcel No. 171.003-2-42.
Appeal 795: Richard Pannone, 4693 State Route 69, seeks to appeal from Section 106, Schedule of District Uses, for a Special Use Permit to open a small used car dealership on property designated as Tax Map Parcel No. 186.001-1-3.
Appeal 796: Brandan Kain, 8977 State Route 26, seeks to appeal from Section 106, Schedule of District Uses, for a Special Use Permit to initiate an agriculture operation boarding one horse on property designated as Tax Map Parcel No. 171.003-1-16.
Appeal 797: Ann Marie Lacey, 10172 Capron Road, seeks to appeal from Section 108-C, Supplemental Regulations, to have an accessory structure in the front yard on property designated as Tax Map Parcel No. 133.000-1-11.1.
All interested parties are invited to attend. The appellants and other interested persons should be aware that an audio recording will be made of these proceedings, but the Town of Lee Zoning Board of Appeals does not provide a transcript of the recording, nor is the quality or accuracy of the recording guaranteed. Rather, interested persons should make alternate provisions for stenographic services, mechanical recordings or accurate note taking.
