VILLAGE OF MONROE PUBLIC HEARING TENTATIVE BUDGET FISCAL YEAR 6/1/25-5/31/26 PURSUANT to Section 5-508 of Village Law, the Tentative Budget for the Village of Monroe has been prepared and filed with the Village Clerk at the Village Office, 7 Stage Road, Monroe, NY, where it may be inspected by all interested parties during office hours Monday through Friday. Said Tentative Budget includes maximum compensation for the Mayor of $84,000.00 per annum and for the Trustees $16,222.50 per annum. White the hearing is closed, it remains open to receive written comment for ten days. The Tentative Budget Public Hearing will be held in the Boardroom of the Village Hall on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 7:00 PM to consider same before final adoption. Written comments, addressed to Mayor Alex Melchiorre should be received no later than April 20, 2026 at the above address.
