TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

(Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law)

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the TENTATIVE Assessment Roll for the Town of Sparta in the County of Livingston for the year 2026.




The Roll will be filed on or about May 1, 2026, and may be seen and examined electronically at https://www.livingstoncounty.us/399/Assessment-Rolls . The Board of Assessment Review is scheduled on June 4th from 4 – 8pm at The Sparta Community Center.




The Assessor will be in attendance with the Roll at:

The North Dansville Town Hall, 14 Clara Barton Street, Dansville on May 13 th from 4pm - 8pm and May 6 th & May 20 th from 2pm –6pm and May 16 th from noon – 4pm. By Appointment.




In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax law, the application RP-524 for filing a complaint and instructional booklets are available in the wall pocket outside of the Assessors office or you can go directly to NYS Department of Taxation and Finance https://www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/publications/orpts/grievancebooklet.pdf .
