ERIE COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 501 & 506) Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of West Seneca, County of Erie, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year. The tentative roll will be open to the public starting May 1st M-F 10am-4pm and by appointment on Saturday May 9th 9am-1pm or Tuesday May 12th 6pm-8pm. The roll will also be available to view online at www.westseneca.gov. Complaints with respect to the assessment may be filed now with the Assessor. Complaints filed with the Assessor will be turned over to the Board of Assessment Review on Grievance Day. The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday May 26th, 2026. The hours will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM to examine all grievances and complaints. In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Law, a publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/current_forms/orpts/rp524_fill_in.pdf. An appointment for Grievance Day hearings may be made in person or by calling the Assessor's Office at 558-3210, 558-3211 or 558-3209 prior to Monday May 25, 2026. All non-hearing grievances must be received prior to 8pm on Tuesday May 26, 2026 either by mail or in person at West Seneca Town Hall 1250 Union Rd room 211 (Assessor's Office).
