OSWEGO COUNTY BID NOTICE REQUEST FOR SERVICES LAWN CARE The Cody Fire District is requesting quotes for lawn care services for the following locations: Cody Fire Station 1 located on County Route 55, Fulton, NY and Cody Fire Station 2 located on Wilcox Rd, Fulton, NY, for a period of one year, beginning May 1, 2026, through October 31, 2026 , may be called before or after these dates depending on the season. Failure to complete any part of this agreement or for any reason the Fire District is dissatisfied with the services rendered, the agreement shall be terminated by the Fire District. Areas to be mowed and/or trimmed are as follows: Station 1: Mow grass on the south side from County Route 55 over the property line to the back of fire station, west side (back of fire station) back to the edge of the bank over to the tree line on the north side. In front of the fire station in the flagpole area, trim around flagpole, propane tank, generator house, and back of the fire station. Station 2: East side of the fire station, from Wilcox Rd, over to the tree line and back to the storage building. South side of the fire station from tree line to tree line and back to the hedge row. On the West side from the back of the fire station to the tree line and up to Wilcox Rd., trim around the flagpole monument, front of storage building, around fire station. Mow to tree line and between BBQ Shed and Thunder Island. Also, sweep/clean any debris and stone from the sidewalks and parking areas, after each mowing. Terms of mowing: Grass shall be mowed/trimmed weekly starting May 1, 2026, through August 15, 2026, and every other week from August 16, 2026, through October 31, 2026. Bids will be per mowing. The total amount of mowing will be for a total of twenty-one (21) weeks. Successful bidder shall carry the following insurance coverage: $500,000.00 Liability, $1,000,000.00 Aggregate, full Worker’s Compensation Insurance on all employees, Cody Fire District to be named as a co-insured. The Cody Board of Fire Commissioners shall be supplied with a copy of the bid certificate of Liability Insurance and Worker’s Compensation coverage, failure to submit certificate(s) of insurance at time of bid opening shall be cause for rejection of bid. References needed. Bids to be CLEARLY marked “ Lawn Care Bids ”, on the outside of the envelope, and mailed to: Cody Fire District, PO Box 249, Fulton, NY 13069.
