YATES COUNTY ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID ADVERTISEMENT FOR SEALED PROPOSALS FOR PUBLIC WORK NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Yates County Legislature invites sealed proposals for the furnishing of all services necessary for the performance of a contract to be let by the County of Yates, for transportation of preschool children with disabilities, for the September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027 school year, with an option to renew for four additional years. ALL sealed proposals must be received by the Public Health Office at 417 Liberty Street, Suite 2021, Penn Yan, New York, on or before the 15th of May, at 1:30 in the afternoon of that day. At such time and place all sealed proposals received will be opened and publicly considered by the Director of Public Health. Bids will be awarded at a later date. Bid specifications and forms for the transportation of preschool children with disabilities proposal will be available for procurement from April 15, 2026 to May 14, 2026 by calling 315-536-5160, emailing publichealth@yatescounty.org , or visiting the Public Health Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid has been filed in conformity with this notice, provided that the Yates County Legislature reserves the right to reject all bids and advertise anew, if in the judgment of said Legislature, it shall be in the best interests of the County to do so.
