Sumter School District Public Budget Hearing FY 2027 General Operating Budget  June 8, 2026 Sumter School District Office 1345 Wilson Hall Road Sumter, SC  29151-2039   In compliance with Section 6-1-80 of the South Carolina Code of Laws, the Sumter School District Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Sumter School District Office to receive input on the proposed 2026-2027 General Fund Operating Budget and General Operations ad valorem millage.  The Board meeting will begin at 6:00pm with public comments being received at that time.    FY 2025-2026 Current General Fund Budget  General Fund Budget: $168,533,809  General Fund Operating Mills Levied: 162.40    FY 2026-2027 Proposed General Fund Budget  General Fund Budget: $178,015,175  General Fund Operating Mills Levied: 162.40    General Operations: The projected millage rate to be requested for General Operations for 2026-2027 is 162.40.
