Public Notice of final passage of an ordinance of the City Council of Texarkana, Texas.
At its regular meeting held on April 13, 2026, the City Council adopted the following ordinance:
Ordinance No. 2026-023 – Amending Chapter 140 - Zoning, Art. VII, Supplemental Regulations by adding definitions to Sec. 140-179, “Special Definitions”, Sec. 140-183, “Storage Shipping Containers”, and Section 140-184, “Shipping Container Homes and Tiny Homes:; Amending Chapter 105 – “Buildings and Construction”, Art. II, Building, Residential, and Energy Technical Codes, Division 3 – Residential Code, by adding Sec. 105-101, “Construction with Certain Zoning Regulations”, of the City Code of Ordinances.
