NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND ADOPTION OF 2025-26 BUDGET EXTENSION

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Spokane School District No. 81, Spokane County, Washington (the “District”) will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments on the District's 2025-26 budget extension to establish Transportation Vehicle Fund appropriations. Following the public hearing, the Board will meet to consider and act upon Resolution No. 2026-05 which approves and adopts an extension of the 2025-26 budget to increase the General Fund appropriations. The public hearing and adoption of the 2025-26 budget extension will be conducted during the regular Board meeting on May 6, 2026, commencing at 6:00PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Boardroom located in the District Administration Building, located at 200 N. Bernard Street, Washington 99201 and via Zoom meeting. Any person may appear at the public hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2025-26 budget extension. Persons wishing to attend via Zoom may complete the “Register to Attend A Virtual School Board Meeting Form” on the Spokane Public Schools website (www.spokaneschools.org) for Zoom log-in information or e-mail taral@spokaneschools.org for assistance. Information on the 2025-26 budget extension is available on the District website https://www.spokaneschools.org or may be obtained by contacting Cindy Coleman, Chief Financial Officer, telephone: (509)354-7318; email: cindyco@spokaneschools.
