NOTICE CALLING FOR PROPOSALS RFP NO. 02-26 In accordance with Public Contract Code 20111, notice is hereby given that the South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD) of San Mateo County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, will receive sealed Requests for Proposal (RFP) for the following: RFP No. 02-26 FOOD AND NUTRITION PRODUCTS, PAPER SUPPLIES AND DELIVERY SERVICES Proposals must be delivered in sealed envelopes marked "RFP No. 02-26 FOOD AND NUTRITION PRODUCTS, PAPER SUPPLIES AND DELIVERY SERVICES" to the District Office - Nutrition Services Department, Attn. Robert Chan, 398 B Street, South San Francisco, CA 94080, up to, but no later than, 1:00 p.m. on Thursday May 18, 2026, at which time they will be opened to check for completeness by representatives of both the Nutritional Services and Business Services departments of said District. All proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the District. It is each bidder's sole responsibility to ensure its proposal is timely delivered and received at the location designated as specified above. Any proposal received at the designated location after the scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals shall be returned to the bidder unopened. The South San Francisco Unified School District is not responsible for proposals sent via U.S. Mail, UPS, and Federal Express or by any other delivery service. All bidders will be responsible for obtaining any addendums or revisions to the project. Questions or comments regarding this RFP must be put in writing and received by the South San Francisco Unified School District no later than 1:00 pm on May 4, 2026. Questions are to be emailed to rchan@ssfusd.org. The South San Francisco Unified School District shall not be obligated to answer any questions received after the above specified deadline or any questions submitted in a manner other than as instructed above. Questions received by this deadline and corresponding answers will be included in an addendum posted under the "Doing Business with SSFUSD" section at: www.ssfusd.org on or before May 8, 2026. The South San Francisco Unified School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any discrepancy or technicality.
