NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGNOTICE OF PROPOSED VARIANCE
A public hearing will be held before the Hanford City Planning Commission on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Civic Auditorium, 400 N. Douty Street, Hanford, California, pertaining to the following:
Variance No. 0031-26: a request to deviate from the standards of the Hanford Municipal Code Section 17.38.060, in order to allow for limited encroachment into front setback areas in the P-F Public Facilities zone district. The project is located at 629 W. Davis St. (APN 012-161-048).
All interested persons may appear to present testimony at the hearing. If you challenge any action or decision by the Planning Commission regarding the subject of the public hearing described in this notice in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
This project is categorically exempt from further environmental review, as per Section 15303 New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines.
