NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held before the Hanford City Council on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in the Hanford City Council Chambers, Civic Auditorium, 400 N. Douty Street, Hanford, California, pertaining to the following:
PRESENTATION OF ASSEMBLY BILL 2561 - LOCAL PUBLIC EMPLOYEES: VACANCY RATES AND RECRUITMENT/RETENTION EFFORTS
The City Council will receive and consider a report regarding vacancy rates by bargaining group and the City’s recruitment and retention efforts pursuant to Assembly Bill 2561.
All interested persons may appear to present testimony at the hearing. If you challenge any action or decision by the City Council regarding the subject of the public hearing described in this notice in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing.
