Public hearing on mobile food vending regulations in Lodi.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, the 27 th day of May, 2026, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Lodi City Planning Commission will conduct a meeting in-person in the Carnegie Forum at 305 West Pine Street, Lodi, California. The meeting will be available for the public to view and listen at: https://www.youtube.com/@cityoflodi_publicmeetings to consider the following Public Hearing:a. Request for the Planning Commission to adopt a resolution recommending that City Council amend Lodi Municipal Code Title 9 (Public Peace, Morals and Welfare), Chapter 9.18 (Vending on Streets, Sidewalks and Private Property) to revise regulations related to mobile food vending, including but not limited to permit requirements, location standards, and operational regulations (Applicant: City of Lodi; CEQA Status: Exempt per Section 215061(b)(3) – General Rule Exemption and Section 15378 as the Ordinance is not a project).Information regarding this item may be obtained from the Community Development Department by phoning (209) 333-6711 or by emailing pccomments@lodi.gov . All interested persons are invited to present their views for the above proposal by email or in-person at the meeting. Meeting agendas are posted at http://www.lodi.gov/AgendaCenter and all required locations. Written statements may be filed with the Community Development Director at any time prior to the Hearing scheduled herein, and they will be made a part of the permanent record.
