NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGCITY OF NAPACOMPLIANCE WITH ASSEMBLY BILL 2561/GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 3502.3 REGARDING VACANCIES, RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION EFFORTSNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 5, 2026, at or after 3:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 955 School Street, Napa, California, a public hearing will be conducted by the City Council of the City of Napa at which time and place all persons may attend and be heard upon:AB 2561 requires public agencies, including the City of Napa, to hold at least one (1) public hearing per fiscal year to discuss vacancies, recruitment and retention efforts. This public hearing is required to take place prior to the adoption of the next fiscal year’s budget and will include an informational presentation regarding the status of the City’s vacancies, recruitment and retention efforts. The City's recognized employee organizations will be provided an opportunity to make a presentation on such subjects.Supporting documents are available at the City Clerk’s Office, 955 School Street, or on the City’s website at www.cityofnapa.org on the Friday before the meeting and may be available earlier depending on the completion and photocopying of the report.Written comments should be directed to the City Council through the City Clerk at P.O.
