PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE RENEWAL OF THE CITY'S ELEVEN LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS FOR FY 202627 AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING The City Council of the City of Oceanside has set a public hearing on June 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, declaring its intent to levy and collect assessments for Fiscal Year 202627 for the City's eleven Landscape Maintenance Districts as further listed below. The hearing will take place in the City Council Chambers located at 300 North Coast Highway, Oceanside, California. The City's Landscape Maintenance Districts were formed under the provisions of the 1972 Landscaping and Lighting Act, which requires the annual renewal of each of the districts in order to levy and collect assessments for the ensuing fiscal year. The levy of the assessments provides funds for the administration and maintenance of landscape improvements within each district. The eleven Landscape Maintenance Districts (collectively LMDs) that require renewal are: Del Oro Hills, Assessment District No. 11987 Douglas Park, Assessment District No. 51981 Guajome Ridge, Assessment District No. 11989 Mar Lado Highlands, Assessment District No. 11988 Peacock Hills, Assessment District No. 11977 Mission Meadows (Area A) Assessment District No. 21979 Mission Meadows (Area B), Assessment District No. 21979 Rancho Hermosa, Assessment District No. 31982 Santa Fe Mesa, Assessment District No. 21987 Sunburst Homes, Assessment District No. 11980 Sunset Hills, Assessment District No. 21982 Vista Del Rio, Assessment District No. 12001 Any interested person(s) will be heard at this public hearing. Prior to the conclusion of this hearing, anyone may file with the City Clerk a written protest regarding the proposed assessments.
