NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CLOSEOUT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT NO: 22-CDBG-PI-00026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Oroville will conduct a public hearing by the Business Assistance and Housing Development Department on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Oroville City Council Chambers, 1735 Montgomery Street, Oroville, CA 95965. The purpose of the public hearing will be to update residents on the progress of following Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) that is closing. 22-CDBG-PI-00026 The following information related to the project is available at 1735 Montgomery St., Oroville CA 95965 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday through Thursday or by emailing the contact listed below: A. Project progress/status of completion and expected timeframe to completion. B. Results to date and projected totals, such as number of beneficiaries assisted, housing units completed, portion of project in service, or persons served. C. Funds expended, balance of funds available, and budget expectations to completion. All persons interested in the status of funding, or the progress of the project are welcome to attend this meeting. Written comments can be directed to the City of Oroville, at 1735 Montgomery St., Oroville CA 95965 or you email at publiccomment@cityoforoville.org no later than 2:00 PM on the day of the meeting to ensure placement in the official record of the hearing. If you simply wish to obtain status of the projects, email Amy Bergstrand at abergstrand@cityoforoville.org.
