2025 San Bernardino Valley Regional Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM in San Bernardino Valley’s Boardroom, at 380 East Vanderbilt Way in San Bernardino, the Board of Directors will conduct a public hearing to receive public comments and consider adoption of the Draft 2025 San Bernardino Valley Regional Urban Water Management Plan (2025 RUWMP) and the Agency’s Draft Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP). Following the public hearing, the Board of Directors may adopt the Draft 2025 RUWMP and Draft WSCP with recommended modifications, if any, as a result of public input.The Draft 2025 RUWMP provides a comprehensive description of the San Bernardino Valley’s water resources and documents San Bernardino Valley’s plans to ensure adequate water supplies to meet existing and future demands under a range of water supply conditions, including water shortages. The Draft WSCP documents plans to manage and mitigate an actual water shortage condition, should one occur because of drought or other impacts on water supplies.A copy of the Draft 2025 RUWMP and Draft WSCP is available for public review beginning on May 18, 2026 and can be downloaded at www.sbvmwd.com or viewed at the District’s office at 380 East Vanderbilt Way in San Bernardino.
