PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Adjustments and Appeals of the City of Ormond Beach, Florida, pursuant to the City's Land Development Code, will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 22 South Beach Street, Ormond Beach, Florida, for the purpose of hearing all parties in interest and to consider and act upon the application of Willard Davis, property owner of 34 Greenvale Drive. The applicant is requesting a variance to allow the construction of a swimming pool with a screen enclosure. The subject property is zoned as SR, Suburban Residential zoning district. Section 2-50(z)(1)(c.)(2.) of the Land Development Code requires pools with screen enclosures to be no closer than 5' from the rear property line. The applicant is requesting a rear yard setback of 2' for a screen enclosure and pool from the rear property line, requiring a variance of 3' from the required 5'-setback.
 
The property is located at 34 Greenvale Drive, Volusia County Parcel Number: 4124-08-00-0770 and is legally described as LOT 77 THE ORMOND GREEN PHASE II MB 47 PG 102 PER OR 4899 PG 2406 PER OR 5851 PG 1536 PER OR 6441 PG 0494 PER OR 6462 PG 0936 PER OR 6467 PGS 1462-1463 PER OR 7455 PG 3232 PER OR 8790 PG 870.
 
ALL PERSONS IN INTEREST and persons for or against the requested variance shall have the opportunity to be heard at this Public Hearing. Copies of the request are available for inspection by the public in the Planning Department, Ormond Beach City Hall, 22 South Beach Street, Room 104, Ormond Beach, Florida.
