NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE RECOMMENDATION FROM THE PARKS, RECREATION, AND BEACHES ADVISORY BOARD TO RE-ALLOCATE FUNDS FROM THE PARKS AND RECREATION GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $774,146.88 FROM THE NORTH FORK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, BY ALLOCATING AND TRANSFERRING $474,146.88 TO THE BASS PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND ALLOCATING AND TRANSFERRING $300,000 TO THE LAUDERDALE ISLES LANDING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PURSUANT TO CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE RESOLUTION NO.18-261 AND RESOLUTION NO. 20-08. The City Commission of the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts - Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom, located at 201 SW 5th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312, for the purpose of hearing any comments which may be made regarding the following: The Parks, Recreation, and Beaches Advisory Boards recommendation to re-allocate funds from the Parks and Recreation General Obligation Bonds from the North Fork Elementary School improvement project in a total amount of $774,146.88, by allocating and transferring $474,146.88 to the Bass Park improvement project and allocating and transferring $300,000 to the Lauderdale Isles Landing improvement project, pursuant to City of Fort Lauderdale Resolution No. 18-261 and Resolution No. 20-08. And Adoption of a Resolution Approving the Parks, Recreation, and Beaches Advisory Boards recommendation to re-allocate funds from the Parks and Recreation General Obligation Bonds in a total amount of $774,146.88 from the North Fork Elementary School improvement project, by allocating and transferring $474,146.88 to the Bass Park improvement project and allocating and transferring $300,000 to the Lauderdale Isles Landing improvement project, pursuant to City of Fort Lauderdale Resolution No. 18-261 and Resolution No. 20-08.
