Public hearing on fund reallocation for parks improvement projects.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE
RECOMMENDATION FROM THE PARKS, RECREATION, AND BEACHES ADVISORY BOARD TO RE-ALLOCATE FUNDS FROM THE PARKS AND RECREATION GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $774,146.88 FROM THE NORTH FORK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, BY ALLOCATING AND TRANSFERRING $474,146.88 TO THE BASS PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND ALLOCATING AND TRANSFERRING $300,000 TO THE LAUDERDALE ISLES LANDING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PURSUANT TO CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE RESOLUTION NO.18-261 AND RESOLUTION NO. 20-08.
The City Commission of the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts - Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom, located at 201 SW 5th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312, for the purpose of hearing any comments which may be made regarding the following:
The Parks, Recreation, and Beaches Advisory Boards recommendation to re-allocate funds from the Parks and Recreation General Obligation Bonds from the North Fork Elementary School improvement project in a total amount of $774,146.88, by allocating and transferring $474,146.88 to the Bass Park improvement project and allocating and transferring $300,000 to the Lauderdale Isles Landing improvement project, pursuant to City of Fort Lauderdale Resolution No. 18-261 and Resolution No. 20-08.
And
Adoption of a Resolution Approving the Parks, Recreation, and Beaches Advisory Boards recommendation to re-allocate funds from the Parks and Recreation General Obligation Bonds in a total amount of $774,146.88 from the North Fork Elementary School improvement project, by allocating and transferring $474,146.88 to the Bass Park improvement project and allocating and transferring $300,000 to the Lauderdale Isles Landing improvement project, pursuant to City of Fort Lauderdale Resolution No. 18-261 and Resolution No. 20-08.
All interested persons may view the meeting virtually at www.fortlauderdale.gov/fltv or attend in person at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts  Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom, 201 SW 5th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Should anyone desire to speak on this item, the person must sign up in person at the Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom at the time of the meeting and appear at the meeting in person.
The Parks, Recreation and Beaches Advisory Board meeting minutes and the proposed resolution may be inspected by the public in the Office of the City Clerk, 1 East Broward Blvd., Suite 444, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, or online at https://fortlauderdale.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.
