NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE BY CITY COMMISSION, GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA
Notice is hereby given that the proposed ordinance whose title appears below will be considered for an adoption reading on April 2, 2026, at a meeting of the Gainesville City Commission. The ordinance will be heard at 10:00 a.m., or will be read as soon thereafter as may be heard. The meeting is scheduled to be held in the City Hall Auditorium, on the first floor of City Hall, 200 East University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. ORDINANCE NO. 2025 - 992
An ordinance of the City of Gainesville, Florida, amending the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan by changing the land use category of approximately 25.55 acres of property generally located west of SW 13th Street, south of SW Archer Road, east of SW 16th Street and north of SW 16th Avenue, as more specifically described in this ordinance, from Urban Mixed-Use High Intensity (UMUH) to Office (O); providing land development regulations; providing directions to the City Manager; providing a severability clause; providing a repealing clause; and providing an effective date.
