Notice of Voluntary Annexation into the City of Gainesville Notice is hereby given that the proposed ordinance whose title appears below will be considered for a first reading on April 2, 2026, at a meeting of the Gainesville City Commission. The ordi- nance will be heard at 10:00 a.m., or will be read as soon there- after as may be heard. If passed, a second reading of the ordi- nance will be heard on April 16, 2026, at a meeting of the Gainesville City Commission. The meeting is scheduled to be held in the City Hall Auditorium, on the first floor of City Hall, 200 East University Avenue, Gaines- ville, Florida. A copy of said ordinance that includes a complete legal description by metes and bounds of the area to be annexed may be inspected by any member of the public at the office of the City Clerk on the first floor of City Hall during regular business hours located at 200 East University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. On the date mentioned above, all interested parties may participate in the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
