ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE BY CITY COMMISSION, GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA Notice is hereby given that the proposed ordinance whose title appears below will be considered for First Reading on the 7th day of May 2026, at a Regular City Commission meeting. The meeting begins at 10:00 am and the ordinance will be read as soon thereafter as may be heard. If passed on First Reading the ordinance will be considered for Second Reading on the 21st day of May 2026 at a Regular City Commission meeting. The meeting begins at 10:00 am and the ordinance will be read as soon thereafter as may be heard. The meetings are scheduled to be held in the City Hall Auditorium, on the first floor of City Hall, 200 East University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. Please visit the Citys website or call 352-334-5015 to get the latest information on how to attend and participate in the meetings. A copy of said ordinance may be inspected by any member of the public at the office of the City Clerk on the first floor of City Hall during regular business hours located at 200 East University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. On the dates mentioned above, all interested parties may participate in the meetings and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
