NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE BY CITY COMMISSION, GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA
Notice is hereby given that the proposed ordinance whose title appears below will be considered for a first reading on April 2, 2026, at a meeting of the Gainesville City Commission. The ordinance will be heard at 10:00 a.m., or will be read as soon thereafter as may be heard. If passed, a second reading of the ordinance will be heard on April 16, 2026, at a meeting of the Gainesville City Commission. The meeting is scheduled to be held in the City Hall Auditorium, on the first floor of City Hall, 200 East University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. An ordinance of the City of Gainesville, Florida, amending the Zoning Map Atlas by rezoning approximately 25.55 acres of property generally located west of SW 13th Street, south of SW Archer Road, east of SW 16th Street and north of SW 16th Avenue, as more specifically described in this ordinance, as more specifically described in this ordinance, from Urban 9 (U9) to Medical Services (MD); providing land development regulations; providing directions to the City Manager; providing a severability clause; providing a repealing clause; and providing an effective date.
