THE SCHOOL BOARD OF LEON COUNTY, FLORIDA NOTICE OF INTENT TO AMEND A RULE RULE NUMBERS/TITLES: Policy 6325 Procurement Federal Grants/Funds PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The revisions to Policy 6325 expand the record retention period for federal awards. While federal law only requires that such records be retained for three (3) years, the Florida Green Book and the General Records Schedule (GS1-SL State and Local Government Agencies) adopted by the Florida Department of State require that such records be retained for five (5) fiscal years from certain events. SUMMARY OF THE RULE: Procurement of all supplies, materials, equipment, and services paid for from Federal funds or District matching funds shall be made in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local statutes and/or regulations, the terms and conditions of the Federal grant, School Board policies, and administrative procedures.
