WILKERSON, Deceased. No. 2026-PR-0000012 NOTICE OF CLAIM DAY AND NOTICE TO UNKNOWN HEIRS IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF EVELYN L. WILKERSON, DECEASED VS. ALL UNKNOWN HEIRS CASE NO. 2026-PR-0000012 NOTICE OF APPOINTING REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE OF CLAIM DA TE Notice is given of the death of the above and that letters of administration were issued on January 28, 2026 to KEVIN H. NELSON, Independent Administrator, whose attorney is HAHN LAW OF PEORIA, LTD., 1230 W. Candletree Drive, Suite A, Peoria, Illinois 61614-1589. Within 42 days after the effective date of the original order of admission, any heir or legatee may file a petition with the Court to require proof of the will by testimony of the witnesses to the will in open Court or other evidence, as provided in Section 6-21 of the Probate Act (755 ILCS 516-21). Any heir or legatee also has the right under Section 8-1 of the Probate Act (7 5 5 ILCS 5/8-1) to contest the validity of the will by filing a petition with the Court within 6 months after admission of the will to probate. Claims must be filed on or before August 5, 2026 - (being six months from the date of the first publication of this Notice of Claim Day), and that any claim not filed before that date is barred. Claims against said estate may be filed on or before said date in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, County Courthouse, Peoria County, Illinois, or with the representative, or both. If filed with the court copies must be mailed or delivered to said legal representative and to said attorney of record within ten days of filing.
