So as to permit: The applicant proposes to expand a non-conforming supermarket and add a restaurant to his property. The R-2 Zone does not allow the proposal, so a Use variance is required. The variances subsumed in the use if approved are as follows: 1. USE. 2. Parking requirement 46 spaces – 9 spaces proposed. 3. No front yard parking permitted – front yard parking proposed. 4. 1 unloading/unloading dock required – 0 proposed.

A public hearing has been ordered for March 5, 2026. This meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm in the City Council Chambers, 3rd floor, City Hall Paterson 155 Market Street Paterson, New Jersey. When this matter is called, you may appear either in person, by agent, or attorney, and present any objections you may have to the granting of this application.
