PROJECT
ROADWAY MILLING AND PAVING PROJECT
The Village of South Blooming Grove invites sealed bids for roadway milling, paving, and related improvements on designated Village roadways in strict conformance with the specifications contained in the bid package titled “SBG Roadwork Bid Package.
The work generally consists of curb-to-curb milling and asphalt paving on Virginia Avenue, portions of Roanoke Drive, and portions of Arlington Drive, together with related full depth repair work, curb installation, traffic control, and project should include all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental items required to complete the project in accordance with the contract documents.
Sealed bids for the above noted work will be received by the Village of South Blooming Grove on or before Monday, June 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM, at Village Hall, Village of South Blooming Grove, 811 Route 208, Monroe, New York 10950. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time by the Village Clerk at Village Hall, Village of South Blooming Grove, 811 Route 208, Monroe, New York 10950.
The Bidding Documents may be reviewed at the Village of South Blooming Grove, 811 Route 208, Monroe, New York 10950, during regular business hours. Bona fide bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Village.
RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
The Village of South Blooming Grove reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or technicalities in any bid, and to award the contract in the best interest of the Village.
The following items are required:
• Non-Collusion Statement
• Certificate of Insurance
• Compliance with New York State Prevailing Wage requirements
• Certified payroll with payment requests
No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the opening of bids.
The Village of South Blooming Grove will provide tax exempt certificates. The owner is exempt from payment of sales tax on all materials supplied and work provided.
