GENESEE COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE DISTRICT SECRETARY OPENING The LeRoy Fire District is seeking applicants for the position of Fire District Secretary. In this role, the secretary serves as the official clerk and administrative officer for the Board of Fire Commissioners and is responsible for maintaining records, preparing meeting minutes, and supporting legal and administrative compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Attend all Board of Fire Commissioners meetings. * Prepare meeting agendas and record official proceedings and minutes. * Coordinate elections and handle Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests. * Ensure public notice of meetings and fulfill other duties assigned by the Board of Fire Commissioners. * Manage records and ensure compliance with LGS-1. * Perform other statutory responsibilities associated with the position.
