NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING




NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on May 27, 2026 at 10:30 o’clock in the morning of that day for the purpose of considering the application of DVZ Holdings III, LLC for Special Exception [Public Garage] pursuant to Article XVI, Section 196[N] of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Hempstead.

An irregular parcel of land located on Southerly side of Sunrise Highway, 350.0 feet west of Oakland Avenue, with a frontage of 201.34 feet and a depth of 210.0 feet on the easterly side of the property and 180.35 feet on the westerly side of the property, with a length of 200.00 feet along the rear property line, located in Wantagh, Nassau County, New York.




Maps pertaining to said proposal are on file with the application above mentioned in the Office of the undersigned and may be viewed during office hours.

All persons interested in the subject matter will be given an opportunity to be heard at the time and place above designated.
