LEGAL NOTICE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES DIVISION OF OIL AND GAS RESOURCES MANAGEMENT RE: APPLICATION FOR UNITIZATION CHRISTMAN-U UNIT MONROE COUNTY, OHIO NOTICE BY PUBLICATION Applicant Apex Energy Operating III, LLC (“Apex”) hereby gives no- tice that the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (the “Division”), has scheduled a hearing pursuant to Revised Code Section 1509.28 concerning Apex’s Christman-U Unit to occur on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. The hearing will be held via video conference, as set forth below. Apex seeks to obtain an Order for Unit Operation from the Chief of the Division with respect to a depth located from the top of the Utica Shale formation to the top of the Trenton Limestone formation covering the Christman-U Unit area. This proposed unit area includes lands in Sections 1, 2, 7, and 8, Township 3N, Range 5W, Benton Township, and Section 9, Township 3N, Range 5W, Perry Township
