OF ECOLOGY Notice of Application for a New Groundwater Right Permit G3-31043 Take Notice: That Gonzaga University of Spokane, Washington on December 4, 2025, under Application No. G3-31043, filed for permit to appropriate public groundwater, subject to existing rights, from nine extraction wells in the amount of 15,000 gallons per minute, each year, for a non-consumptive open-loop ground source heat pump system. The proposed points of withdrawal are north of Spokane River in the SW¼NW¼, NE¼NW¼, SE¼NW¼, NW¼NE¼, SW¼NE¼, NE¼SW¼, and NW¼SE¼ of Section 17, Township 25 N., Range 43 E.W.M. The proposed place of use is the Gonzaga University's campus in Section 17, Township 25 N., Range 43 E.W.M., in Spokane County. Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis of objections and are subject to public disclosure.
