BEGINNING OF REVIEW NOTICE Applicant, Project Description, and Estimated Capital Cost: Shriners Hospitals for Children, dba Shriners Children's Spokane, proposes to establish a 3-OR ambulatory surgery center at 911 West 5th Avenue in Spokane [99204]. The capital cost associated with this project is $1,693,189. Public Hearing: No public hearing will be held unless requested. To request a hearing, the request must be in writing and include the name, address, and signature of the person making the request. The deadline for requesting a hearing is Monday, May 11, 2026. If a public hearing is scheduled, the hearing notice will be published in The Spokesman-Review at least 15 days before the date of the hearing. Public Comment Period: If no public hearing is held, written comments must be received by the Certificate of Need Program on or before Friday, May 29, 2026. Hearing requests and comments are not accepted by fax. Email them to: CN@doh.wa.gov and Randall.Huyck@doh.wa.gov.
