NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF SOUTH LAKE TAHOE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Sections 65090 and 65091 (Planning and Zoning Law) of the Government Code: the City of South Lake Tahoe City Council will conduct a public hearing on March 10, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the City Council Chambers, 1901 Lisa Maloff Way, South Lake Tahoe Airport, to consider the following: • Closeout of Community Development Block Grant Program Coronavirus Response Funding for Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless Bear's Den Inn Rehabilitation Summary: On March 27, 2020, Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act in response to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) published a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CDBG-CV2 and 3) funds. The CBDG-CV2 and 3 grant program for the Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless Bear’s Den Inn Rehabilitation will close on March 31, 2026. HCD requires closeout activities be noticed and presented at a public hearing.
