NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF SOUTH LAKE TAHOE PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Sections 65090 and 65091 (Planning and Zoning Law) of the Government Code, the City of South Lake Tahoe Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on May 14, 2026, at 3:00 pm., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the City Council Chambers, 1901 Lisa Maloff Way, South Lake Tahoe Airport, to consider the following agenda items: * South Tahoe Refuse Delinquent Refuse Fees Report Summary: Mandatory collection of fees, authorized by City Code Section 4.150.34, which remain unpaid for a period of 180 days, may be collected by South Tahoe Refuse pursuant to City Code Section 4.150.370. City Code Section 4.1450.370 requires South Tahoe Refuse to prepare a delinquent fees report, and for the Planning Commission to hold a public hearing to hear any objections or protests of landowners liable for delinquent fees (John Hitchcock, jhitchcock@cityofslt.gov). Any interested person may appear at the public hearing and present written testimony or speak in favor of or against the project proposal. Pursuant to Government Code Section 65009(b)(2), if you challenge the above application in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you, or someone else, raised at the public hearing described in this notice or written correspondence delivered to the City of South Lake Tahoe Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing. Written testimony may be addressed to the Planning Commission in care of the City Clerk to PublicComment@cityofslt.us or mailed to 1901 Lisa Maloff Way, Suite 206, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.
